QuadraMed Expands Integration of Health Language Solutions

DENVER, CO (Nov. 7, 2013) — Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that QuadraMed Corporation has extended and expanded its partnership agreement to further leverage its Health Language^® terminology management solutions. Enhanced integration of Health Language applications into the QuadraMed Computerized-Patient Record (QCPR) continues to build upon the clinical value and usability of the Enterprise Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution for QuadraMed users.

QuadraMed will specifically utilize Health Language Provider Friendly Terminologies to improve clinical documentation through enhanced problem and diagnosis search. International Code Standards and SmartMapping capabilities will also be leveraged to support regulatory compliance and advance data extraction and electronic information exchange capabilities.
