HealthPlan Services Appoints Kristin Baca as COO

TAMPA, Fla. – May 14, 2012 – HealthPlan Services (HPS), the nation’s leading technology and administrative services provider for the insurance and managed care markets, has appointed Kristin Baca as its Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role, Baca will manage and improve consistency in operations and drive best practices through business process improvement. Other responsibilities include establishing and enhancing service delivery to new and existing clients.

Prior to joining HPS, Baca served as Vice President of Global Operations and Human Resource Services for Xerox (formally ACS Inc.), where she partnered with the various lines of business to assist them in the areas of strategy, acquisition, assessment, development, engagement and transition. Previous positions within Xerox include Vice President and Transition Executive, Director of Revenue and Vice President of Global Operations.

Baca’s background includes finance positions with Countrywide Home Loans, EDS/Centrobe/NeoData, University of Colorado Foundation and the University of Colorado.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from the University of Colorado and a master of business administration in finance from Regis University.
